The Legislative Coalition for People with Disabilities (LCPD) is a 501c3 organization. We are a grass roots organization bringing together the voice of all Utahns to advocate for services for people with disability. LCPD membership is diverse including: Self-advocates, family members of children and adults with disabilities, providers, non-profit agencies and State Agencies. The volunteer Leadership Team strives to build a respectful dialogue with Legislators in order to educate them on the needs of the community.

The Legislative Reception is our main event of the year. Legislators view this event as a time they can speak to their constituents. Although not every legislator attended, this year saw the highest number of legislators and constituents for many years. Funds are needed to continue to offer this opportunity to connect with legislators.

There are other administrative costs throughout the year that have to be covered. As a grassroots volunteer organization even small donations are welcome.
